We always show up, its impossible we are not at our meeting point.
We have at least 2 guys at each point, so we are always there. If you dont see us,
or cant find us you must be in the wrong place. Best to print
our maps on our tours page to find our meeting points.
The Angel Tours Walk Leader will be holding
up an opened yellowish umbrella with angel faces on it. No fotos
or video of the walk leader, they are shy and too ugly.
We always have at least two guides at meeting
points, even if you are late we almost always have a person employed
to wait for late arrivals. But please try not to be too late!

Vatican 930am SKIP THE LINE option
the crowds waiting to get into the Vatican museums are often
talekd about and always dreaded. The Vatican have done a lot recently
to overcome this. On our early morning tour we pass the public
to enter. This tour is exactly the same as the one we do later
in the day but it costs more because the Vatican charge more for
the ticket reservation system and wont let us cancel the tickets.
It feels great walking in past the public but actually the line
is not always so bad in the mornings, and usually are gone by
1pm. YET YOU NEVER KNOW, sometimes lines have just continued all
day.

If for whatever reason some
Museum rooms are close on a certain day, we are not always made
aware of it in time to tell you, often we are not told at all.
If this happens, we will give you a discount on the tour. We do
always know the closed days of the Vatican Museums so don't worry
about that, it's just sections at a time which are often closed
to us.
We meet at the doorway in front of Galleria Savelli Souvenir Shop, the last souvenier shop on the right side of Via Della Concillazione as you face the entrance to St Peter's Square. There is a Taxi Stand close by. Take a look at our map. When you reach St Peters Square you will see the taxi stand infront of the Square. If you can see the taxis you will see our guides holding Angel umbrellas which are yellow brown colour.
We at Angel Tours use the Rick Steves
recommended route. We start with St. Peter's Square, talking about
Bernini who is mentioned often in Angels and Demons. We begin
looking at the renaissance men of genius; Galileo, Michelangelo,
Da vinci and Raphael to mention a few big ones. Then we enter
the Vatican Museums, taking in the Greek, Roman and Egyptian sculptures.
We visit the Hall of the Tapestries. The Maps and Raphael Rooms
if you're not too tired. In the Museums you will see many small
courtyards, art with scandal attached, the stolen art, art with
optical illusions and art with hidden meanings behind it. This
is a tour which gives deep insight into the minds of the men of
the renaissance. The wild and murderous war popes, climaxing with
the man himself Michelangelo and his ceiling, we spend most of
our time on that subject. Then we exit from the Sistine Chapel
to the Basilica of St. Peter; all three tours become one gigantic
Rome story... Very entertaining.
Roman Forum & Colosseum Tour
We meet every day at 09:00 on the UPPER level exit (upstairs) of the COLOSSEO metro
stop, directly across the road from the Colosseum. We use the
fast-track reservation system so as to minimize waiting times.
You can use Roma Pass and the Archeologia card. You can buy Roma
Pass inside the Colosseum metro stop. But dont depend on that
as they sell out fast.
We will take you on a walk
through the Roman Forum, the heart of the ancient city Romulus
and Remus and the Roman Empire. From it's mythical beginnings
to the rise of Christianity, bringing to life the numerous ruins
of over 2600 years of history, we will explore the politics, religions
and myths of this great civilisation leading into the most famous
of the city's monuments: you will enter the Colosseum without
waiting in the line, This entire tour takes around 2 hours and
then some. When you arrive at the colosseum metro stop, go inside
and find the escalator going up to meet your Angel.

This is an easy going
walking tour. Traversing the heart of the city you will discover
the Spanish Steps, the Famous Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, the
Pantheon, the lively night time square of Campo di Fiori, as well
as the works of Caravaggio and the Tomb of the artist Raphael.
As far as we are concerned this is the real tour of Rome. It's
the tour which brings you to the most beautiful areas of the city
and you get a feel for life in Rome as we walk round, revealing
Rome, old and new, its Christian and pagan marvels, and its optical
illusions. Even if you have already walked these areas come again
with one of us and see them with new eyes. This tours lasts about
2 hours. We do stop for an ice cream !!! This tour is all walking
in a down hill direction to make it easier on you guys. At the
last stop on the tour you'll be within walking distance of 'Trastevere',
the eating quarter of Rome with lots of different restaurants
to choose from.

in 2008 the National Geographic have written about this free
tour with us. Rick Steves also recommends this free Rome Tour
We meet on the front steps of the Pantheon at 19:00 every day in High Season.
Please note that on Sundays this tour does not enter the Pantheon. We do it
outdoors.

Quintessential Tour

This is a semi walking Rome Tours. We hire small electric cars
like the ones used on a golf course. This tour is magic, kids
really love it. But book fast as it fills really quickly cause
we can only get our hands on a few electric cars.
We start at 2:30pm and ask one or two of you to take
turns driving. Dont worry its an easy route avoiding the worse
traffic. This Rome Tours with Angel Rome Tours is 4 or more hours
long, stopping for ice cream of coffee. No Beer for drivers?
Meeting point at 2:30pm at the Obelisk in the middle
of piazza del Popolo, the guide will be holding an umbrella with
